YOUR ROLE

In this role, you will be accountable for the overall procurement performance for the IT & Telco category

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Develop on his/her category scope annual spend reduction plans (supplier prices reduction and internal demand optimization), ensuring the activation of all possible performance levers: value analysis, cost breakdown, supplier base rationalization, country synergies, benchmarking, near-/offshoring, etc.
  • Define categories and supplier base strategies, in close liaison with the Global Category Director and Stakeholders: identify key suppliers, challengers, niche…target 80% of the total spend covered by categories / suppliers base strategies
  • Lead all key Request for Proposal (RFP) processes (RFP strategies and supplier selection) in close collaboration with business owners / stakeholders.
  • Lead QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) performance review processes with selected suppliers, in collaboration with business owners / stakeholders. Target 80% of the total spend covered by Suppliers under performance reviews
  • Implement internal working groups, aiming at identifying cost-saving opportunities, disruptive business model changes to generate additional savings.
  • Identify all potential synergies across countries and other CEVA regions (Europe, Latam, APAC, IMEA, NORTAM): multi-country RFPs, supplier base rationalization,
  • Monitor Suppliers risk: financial health, CSR, compliance, dependency…develop corrective actions when necessary.
  • Ensure contractual compliance and highest protection for CEVA
  • Target 85% of the total spend made with key suppliers, through strong challenge of all business owners / stakeholders’ purchase requests and a rigorous control of the new vendors creations.
  • Lead the “Innovation” process with strategic suppliers, to identify and integrate the best Product / Process / Service innovations as early as possible.
  • Ensure full compliance with the Group’s Procurement policy and Group’s Business Rules
  • Strengthen continuously the procurement skills of his/her Buyers teams through regular assessments & tailored training plans.
  • Continuously motivate and energize his/her teams
  • Ensure the overall performance’s monthly follow-up through the KPIs list below

KPIs (non-exhaustive list):

  • Spend reduction (hard savings & cost avoidance, suppliers price reduction & demand optimization)
  • % of spend made with key suppliers
  • % of total spend covered by category/supplier base strategies
  • % of total spend made with Suppliers under performance review process
  • % of invoices covered by purchase orders
  • Number of risky suppliers, across financial health, dependency, CSR, compliance
  • Number of annual innovation committees with strategic suppliers

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Engineering School, Business School, University,
  • 7-10 years Industrial Procurement background in international companies
  • Track record in IT & Telco procurement
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Leadership skills.
  • Ability to develop strategies and work operationally
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural, and matrix organization.
