We are looking for an experienced Procurement Directorto lead Ponsse’sglobal procurement function and play a key role in strengthening our competitiveness in a changing global environment.

As Procurement Director, you willbe responsible forleading and developingPonsse’sglobal procurement function, covering both product-related direct procurement and non-product-related procurement. You will ensure that procurement supportsPonsse’sbusiness targets, competitiveness, product cost management, quality, deliveryperformanceand long-term strategic development.

You will be part of the Operations Leadership Team and report to the Chief Operations Officer. You will work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, R&D, product management,qualityand other key functions to ensure that procurement decisions support customer value,complianceand operational excellence.

You will lead the development and execution ofPonsse’sprocurement strategy and processes, including supplierselection,leading supplierrelationships.

Your responsibilities include driving cost competitiveness, supplier performance, risk management, contractmanagementand compliance across procurement.

Together with your team, you will ensure that procurement practices supportPonsse’svalues, industry standards, sustainabilitytargetsand responsible business conduct. In this role, you will help strengthenPonsse’sbusiness growth, profitability,resilienceand customer success through strong procurement capabilities and supplier partnerships.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’sdegree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, business or another relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• Proventrack recordin a similar senior procurement leadership role, preferably in an international industrial or manufacturing company.Peopleleadership experience isrequired
• Ability to lead and develop procurement strategies, supplier management models, category management, contractmanagementand procurement processes.
• Understanding ofheavy-dutymachinery, industrial manufacturing, supplychainsand global supplier markets is beneficial.
• Strong commercial, analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to balance cost, quality, delivery,riskand sustainability.
• Excellent leadership, communication,collaborationand stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel
• Fluency in English and Finnish; other languages are an advantage.
