Compensation: $45,000 - 55,000 plus up to 3% bonus, capped at 150%

Job Summary

The Procurement Coordinator supports procurement activities for indirect categories, focusing on the execution of daily procurement transactions, supplier communication, and participation in sourcing initiatives to ensure seamless business operations. This role collaborates closely with Facilities, Operations, Security, IT, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to facilitate timely deliveries, accurate transactions, and effective supplier performance management. The ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills, SAP experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in both corporate and manufacturing environments.

Primary Responsibilities

• Execute daily procurement activities for indirect categories.
• Create, manage, and maintain purchase orders (POs) within SAP and SRM, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Monitor supplier order acknowledgements and proactively follow up on delivery commitments.
• Support RFx processes, supplier evaluations, bid comparisons, and sourcing projects under the guidance of Senior Manager.
• Assist in negotiating pricing, delivery schedules, and service requirements within established guidelines.
• Maintain comprehensive procurement records, contracts, supplier information, and documentation.
• cTrack supplier performance and escalate issues related to delivery, quality, or service as needed.
• Contribute to cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with business users and suppliers to resolve issues and support business requirements.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Adhre to corporate compliance and procurement governance standards.
• Comply with all G+D Environmental, Health & Safety policies.
• Support procurement projects assigned by management.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience

• Entry-level position; 2–4 years of indirect procurement experience is preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

• Solid understanding of procurement processes and practices.
• Experience with SAP MM, purchasing systems, or ERP platforms preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Self-motivated, accountable, and customer service-oriented.
• Progress towards a procurement designation or equivalent certification is an asset.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma required.

Working Conditions

• Office-based 3 days per week, with occasional travel as required.
• May require evening or weekend work to meet deadlines.
