Job Description

Job Location: Sarasota, FL 34243Key Responsibilities
- Purchase goods or services that meet the quantity, cost and quality expectations of the organization
- Track inventory and restock goods when needed
- Compare available goods with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing
- Oversee the entire product order process, from requisition to delivery
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies
- Manage relationships with existing suppliers
- Evaluate supplier performance and address issues as needed
- Identify cost-saving opportunities
- Work closely with other departments, such as finance and operations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their procurement needs
- Respond to and resolve complaints and problems
- Effectively and promptly communicate with the requestor or receiving location regarding the progress of materials from the vendor/distributor to the endpoint

- 2+ years of experience in procurement or a related role.
- Familiarity with procurement software and systems.
- Strong communications
