Telenet is looking for a Procurement Commodity Lead – INDIRECT

As a Commodity Lead you will drive the development and execution of the sourcing strategies for the commodities of Indirect services in your portfolio. As a Procurement professional you are part of Telenet’s Finance organization. You will contribute to the implementation of the overall business strategies and long-term objectives by procuring best quality and value solutions from both new and existing suppliers under the right terms and conditions.

Your tasks as a Procurement Commodity Lead

As a Procurement Commodity Lead, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing a suitable sourcing strategy with your business stakeholders, taking into account company impact and market evolutions (e.g. generative AI)
• Tendering suppliers through an established Procurement process in order to ensure that this selection is handled in a structured, transparent and fair manner.
• Balancing stakeholder value in terms of price and quality whilst following Procurement policies and procedures including Telenet’s ESG objectives.
• Being end-to-end responsible for contract and Supplier Relationship Management, negotiating creative commercial proposals and business development initiatives with an eye on the total cost of ownership and correct risk management.
• Exchanging knowledge and experience within the Procurement team in order to improve ways of working, processes and stakeholder interaction.

Our ideal Procurement Commodity Lead...

• Has experience with Procurement management in an international environment including sourcing strategy development for services.
• Has a deep understanding of contract management, Procurement concepts, spending and market analyses, financial analyses and savings calculations.
• Has a good knowledge of standard legal terms & conditions including security, GDPR and business ethics in order to identify and mitigate risks.
• Is able to quickly adapt, challenge and build stakeholder relationships and develop and understand domain knowledge.
• Can interact with suppliers and act as SPOC for negotiating, managing and optimizing supplier relationships.
• Has a Bachelor or Master degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Is a proactive self-starter with strong analytical and communication skills
• Speaks English and preferably Dutch .
