We are now seeking for a Procurement Category Specialist for Indirect Categories to be a part of our CCI Turkey Procurement Team, in İstanbul. The main responsibilities and the specifications for the role are shared below:

What We Expect

  • Align with internal and external key stakeholders (including CEPG- Cross Enterprise procurement group) to drive and ensure implementation of strategies for commodities managed.
  • Run tenders for the managed categories to negotiate pricings as well as other terms and conditions to achieve Pipeline of value targets identified yearly
  • Conducting supplier research, obtaining quotes, providing samples for designated spend cateogry.
  • Create preferred supplier lists for all categoires managed considering spend, relation tenure & pricing trend
  • Ensuring all procurement activites to meet within CCI policies and audit expectations.
  • Maintain good utilization for eProcurement tools made available by CCI
  • Preparing reliable and sustainable cost saving projects, examining and submitting to the agreements related to locally agreed price issues, active partipication in central contracting processes.
  • In line with the needs, developing/sourcing alternatives constantly to bring new local/global suppliers into the system, to engage in problems with suppliers such as quality, delivery etc., to take an active role in the solution of the problem.Evaluate supplier performances and arrange periodically supplier site visits.
  • Utilize reporting and analytics to drive key strategies and decisions for the category group
  • Monitor industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base issues to minimize risk, protect continuity of supply, and exploit emerging opportunities that benefit CCI
  • Follow market trends for the raw materials of the procured items to recommend prebuy or hedging options
  • Identify and Develop alternative suppliers in line with group procurement strategy, create contingency plans. Work with BU post Group team approvals to ensure smooth induction
  • Make sure suppliers are aligned with Coca-Cola / CCI sustainability targets and are SGP approved where applicable.

Capabilities

  • Undergraduate Degree (preferably in Social Sciences, Business Administration and Engineering)
  • Min 2-3 years of experience in purchasing
  • Advanced level of Excel skills, preferably an SAP user
  • Advanced level of English & Turkish
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills,
  • Experienced in building and maintaining effective internal customer and supplier relationships
  • Multi-tasking / Effective time management
  • Procurement / Negotiation experience
  • Having knowledge about the effects of costs and financials
