The Position

As a team member of Roche Services (Europe) Ltd. Site Services Department, the Procurement & Car Fleet Management Intern is responsible for:

  • Supporting the work of the Strategic Procurement Partner and the Office Executives in administration regarding Procurement tasks and Car Fleet Management.

Responsibilities

Car fleet:

  • Managing administrative duties including: monitoring car fleet contract start/end dates, highway tickets, penalties etc.
  • Keeping contact with the Leasing companies and following up the incoming messages.
  • Informing the employees about the car policy and assisting them with any car fleet related questions.
  • Managing and updating the database containing comprehensive car fleet details.
  • Supporting the car handover process and performing regular car condition checks.
  • Assisting with the request, distribution, and record-keeping of fuel cards and motorway vignettes.
  • Supporting the team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.
  • Supporting system related activities in MyBuy, eg.: PO creation, reports.

Procurement:

  • Supporting the Strategic Procurement Partner providing administrative assistance during the bidding process and organizing tender documentation.
  • Analyzing supplier offers and maintaining data accuracy to support decision-making.
  • Creating Purchase Orders (POs) and ensuring all transaction details are correct.
  • Following up on orders and deliveries with vendors.
  • Partnering with various departments to ensure their procurement needs are met efficiently and Ensuring all activities and documentation align with the official Procurement Policy.

Employees are responsible for performing their duties in line with the SHE (Safety, Security, Health and Environmental Protection) Guidelines and the applicable law. It is required to complete the mandatory training courses and follow procedures and instructions accordingly.

  • Fluency in English & Hungarian
  • You are currently studying in Hungarian University/College on a day-time schedule
  • You are available to work 20-30 hours on a weekly basis
  • B category driving license with active driving experience
  • Stakeholder management skills, ability to multi-task
  • Strong service orientation and communication skills
  • Precise, focused, accountable way of working, high level of organizational and problem solving skills
  • Proactive mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player attitude, accuracy, ability to meet deadlines and set the right priorities
