Could you be the Procurement Buyer in Madrid (Pinto) we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside young and proactive teammates.

You'll set up full supplier selection process. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, logistics), deploy commodities strategy and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of ensuring project execution in line with Quality Cost Delivery & Technical (QCDT) objectives, but also supporting supplier Panel relationship (Supplier workload, negotiation, Specific agreement).

We’ll look to you for:

  • Set up full supplier selection process
  • Prepare and launch of Request for Quotation with suppliers.
  • Lead project negotiation.
  • Promote the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.
  • Ensure the on-time delivery and quality are secured especially during the ramp-up phase of the project.
  • Support commodity strategy.
  • Participate actively to commodity strategy and panel elaboration.
  • Provide imputes to build differentiation.
  • Support global supplier panel relationship.
  • Assess properly all risky suppliers and manage the associated mitigation plan.

  • Academic background: Technical Engineering or Univeristy Degree in Industrial Engineer, Economics, Administration, Finance or related studies.
  • 3 year of experience in similar positions.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Desirable knowledge in SAP.
