Procurement Assistant-Shirpur

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce,

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, administration, or a similar role.

Experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and processing Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Obtain quotations from approved suppliers and support vendor selection.
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and contract documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to verify procurement requirements and delivery schedules.
  • Track purchase orders and update procurement status reports.
  • Verify invoices and supporting documents before submitting them for payment processing.
  • Assist in evaluating supplier performance and maintaining vendor records.
  • Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment activities.
  • Resolve routine procurement and supplier-related issues under the guidance of the Procurement Executive or Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
  • Perform other procurement-related administrative duties as assigned.
