The role

We are seeking a Procurement Assistant to join our team - supporting the indirect team to support stores, site and the test team with day-to-day procurement activities, your role will assist the sites in Shoreham-By-Sea and Leamington-Spa.

Key Duties

• Raise purchase orders for goods and indirect services whilst also supporting the project team when required
• Working closely with accounts payable to goods receipt and clear any parked invoices
• Liaise with existing suppliers and source alternative suppliers where necessary
• Work closely with the stores team to consolidate supply base
• Monitoring the purchasing inbox to assist with all queries

Skills

• Knowledge of SAP is preferred
• Effective and efficient problem solver
• Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
• Excellent collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience of working with a stores department or warehousing function would be preferred
