Why this role matters

As the Procurement and Logistics Coordinator you will provide a coordination service to the Asset Management Team and O&M with regards to Procurement and Logistics through sharing information and ensuring that procurement and deliveries are executed on time and successfully. This is a role for someone who wants to learn in a fast-moving international business and build experience in one of the world’s most relevant industries.

What you'll be doing

  • Successfully implement the operating system throughout the structuring and execution phase of the Project
  • Support BD with pricing for services, material, and equipment and submit to Line Manager
  • Visit ports with EPC and meet with customs agents in foreign countries
  • Assist with the bid evaluation and recommendation process
  • Successfully implement the operating system throughout the structuring and execution phase of the Project
  • Support all Scatec business units: BD , EPC O&M and SPV
  • Obtain quotes and lead times for services / materials requested by plant(s), present quotes to Line Manager for approval and preparation of contracts / Purchase Orders (PO’s) for relevant service/materials
  • Prepare RFP's, distribute to bidders and assist with bid evaluation and recommendation to Line Manager
  • Highlight logistic risks identified during the delivery of goods timeously communicate to Line Manager / Stake holders
  • Maintain delivery documentation (Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists & Material Handover Sheets) for delivery including shipping registers, delivery plans and trackers in accordance with the operating system (Digitally)
  • Manage all Customs related documents with Suppliers / Logistic Providers
  • Organise day‐to‐day electronic filing and maintain procurement registers in the document management system

What you'll bring

Experience and qualifications

  • Minimum: Diploma in Supply Chain Management
  • 7+ years’ experience in a similar role with 5+ years’ experience in Procurement Operating System
  • Excellent knowledge in MS Office: Advanced Excel, MSWord
  • Excellent communication skills with colleagues and external vendors (Email/Telephonically/In Person)
  • Ability to coordinate with suppliers, planners and other departments in order to produce and monitor the shipping register and schedule for just in time delivery. As well as to communicate in advance any delays or potential cost overruns.
  • Detail orientation and knowledge of compliance and administration requirements to deliver on updated records, registers and system documentation requirements
