As a part of the global procurement team, the role would entail assisting business users in the buying process, offering expert advice on procurement policies and procedures as needed as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with internal customers and external suppliers. A part of the role would also revolve on gathering data and facts to identify potential savings and sharing analysis results to leaders along with recommendations for optimization.
· Understand priorities for IT(Hardware, Software and Professional Services) related requirements and follow purchase procedures on compliance and spend limits.
· Manage Purchase requisitions and work towards release of POs on time to suppliers.
· Develop sourcing plan and co-ordinate with suppliers for completion for low value purchases.
· Develop comparatives in RFQ documents.
· Co-ordination with various stakeholders to gain approvals where required.
· Communicate across multiple stakeholders, requestors, inventory control.
· Resolve and co-ordinate any operational day to day issues with the suppliers, requestors, Accounts Payable.
· Create and manage the contracts for different purchases and renewals.
Graduate with Excellent communication skills
· Minimum 4-7 years of prior buying experience across any PR to PO, tactical buying via single source or multiple sources, core IT related Procurement (IT Hardware, Software and Professional Services categories)
· Good understanding of various procurement guidelines
· Experience in Contract Management
· Prior experience of working with suppliers and stakeholders
· Good analytical / reasoning skills
· Proficiency in MS Office
· ERP exposure

· Excellent interpersonal skills, with high degree of integrity and trust, and an ability to influence and achieve results through others
· Previous experience of working in a Global organization would be preferrable
· Excellent verbal and written English language skills
· Excellent Microsoft Office skills
· Trustworthy, discreet and credible
· Effective time management with challenging workload
· Superior attention to detail with the ability to learn very quickly
· A pragmatic team player, collaborative and prepared to “roll their sleeves up” where necessary
Night Shift Commitment: Willingness to work night shifts from 7 PM to 4 AM, maintaining operational effectiveness during non-standard working hours.
