About the job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Procurement Analyst to join the Hydro Extrusions Procurement team, a strategic organization that oversees spend within several important indirect categories across sites all over the world.

This role is critical in ensuring that procurement decisions are based on accurate data and insightful analysis. In this position, you will play a key role in optimizing procurement processes through data-driven insights. You will collect, analyze, and interpret procurement data to support strategic sourcing decisions, cost optimization, and supplier performance management. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to transform complex data into actionable recommendations. Support as an analyst will be provided to both EU and NA regions, requiring the ability to collaborate effectively across geographies.

What you will be doing

  • Collect, clean, and analyze procurement data from diverse sources across multiple plants (multiple ERP systems, supplier reports, sites databases

  • Structure and manage large Excel databases to prepare tender documentation and bid sheets

  • Lead complex, multi‑site tenders by coordinating suppliers, ensuring proper documentation, compliance, and evaluation

  • Build comprehensive assessment files for bid comparison, identify cost‑saving opportunities through data and market analysis, and prepare documentation for negotiations and supplier reviews

  • Create project workplans, anticipate needs, recommend improvements, support implementation, track organizational savings, and contribute to achieving the category’s strategic goals
  • Collaborate with Category Managers and cross-functional teams and stakeholders in different locations to ensure procurement strategies align with business objectives

What will make you successful?

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Engineering or related field with experience in Purchasing / Procurement Analyst and / or a Materials Management related role
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modeling, complex formulas and VBA Macros, and ability to structure large datasets for tenders)
  • Experience supporting Category Management activities or involvement in category strategy initiatives is strongly preferred
  • Experience with procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) is a plus
  • Fluency in English is essential, while proficiency in other European languages is a plus

Personal skills:

  • Stakeholder management and influencing skills, including interaction with Category Managers and leadership levels
  • Capability to collaborate effectively with teams across Europe and North America, adapting to different regional procurement practices and business requirements
  • Comfortable working with imperfect data and making sound decisions under uncertainty while maintaining accuracy and delivering results
  • Excellent communication skills to present insights clearly to stakeholders across multiple locations (proficiency in both Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
