Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Procurement Agent - Contracts to join our Systems Contracts team in Everett, Washington

The Contracts Procurement Agent plays a pivotal role in managing, integrating, and improving Boeing's supply chain. As a Contracts Procurement Agent, your responsibilities will focus on contracting strategy, contract negotiation and supplier selection.

This role requires contracting knowledge, negotiating, and carrying out all aspects of BCA Supply Chain Contracts in support of production programs. Your primary duties include maintaining relationships with external companies and internal collaborators, and negotiating cost recoveries, engineering changes, and contract extensions. In this role, you will be the primary contact with the supplier(s) and will maintain contracts and statement of work within approved BCA Supply Chain policies and procedures.

The primary responsibility of this role is to coordinate and lead negotiations for the renewal of Collins Aerospace contracts spanning multiple commodities for Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), which are set to expire around 2030. Additionally, the role will involve collaboration with Boeing Global Services (BGS) and Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) to ensure a unified "One Boeing" approach in negotiations with Collins Aerospace. The position may also require coordination with Sourcing teams to explore competitive bidding opportunities.

Our team is currently hiring for (Level 4)-Senior or (Level 5)-Lead Procurement Agent - Contracts.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
  • Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions.
  • Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements.
  • Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions.
  • Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues.
  • Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities.
  • Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications ( Required Skills Experience):

  • 7+ years of experience with Supplier Management, Procurement and/or Supply Chain processes and practices
  • 7+ years of experience working Supplier Statements of Work (SSOW)
  • 7+ years of experience negotiating contractual terms and conditions
  • Domestic and international travel 10-20% as needed

Preferred Qualifications ( Desired Skills Experience):

  • Level 5: 10+ years of experience with Supplier Management, Procurement and/or Supply Chain processes and practices
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
  • 10+ years of experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contractual agreements
  • 10+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners
  • 10+ years of experience working in a supply chain role which required you to perform supply chain activities in a formal or informal supply chain environment
  • 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
