Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Specialist to manage the end-to-end procurement and payment lifecycle. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the full P2P process, from identifying purchasing needs and issuing purchase orders to ensuring accurate invoice processing and timely vendor payments. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to maintain smooth operations, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance or procurement professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving efficiency, accuracy, and strong vendor relationships.

On a given day, a Procure-to-Pay Specialist will:

• Oversee the entire procure-to-pay cycle from start to finish.
• Generate and handle both Procurement request and purchase orders.
• Liaise with external suppliers and internal teams.
• Guarantee punctual and precise vendor payments.
• Resolve any inconsistencies between invoices and payments.
• Keep detailed and correct records of all transactions.
• Track budget and expenditures in relation to purchase orders.
• Adhere to corporate guidelines and legal stipulations.

Requirements

In order to be successful in this role you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years in procure to pay or a similar role.
• Comprehensive understanding of procurement and accounting procedures.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Fluent Japanese and English by business level.
