Job Description

JOB TITLE: Processor

The Processor is responsible for the accurate receiving, processing, sorting, and packaging of customer returns in accordance with company SOPs and manufacturer policies. This role primarily involves entering returned products into the Warehouse Management System (WMS), verifying documentation, sorting items by classification, and packaging products according to Return Goods Invoices for credit or destruction. Returnable items must be scanned into designated bin locations to ensure traceability and quality control. The position requires strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and proficiency with RF scanners and computerized warehouse management systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
  • Accurately receive and scan tracking numbers to enter customer returns into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Create and maintain accurate inventory records by verifying item counts, product information, and documentation.
  • Sort products according to company policies and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Store product in designated bin locations and ensure proper system tracking.
  • Pack products for storage, credit return, destruction, or shipment as required.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Generate and process internal and customer-related paperwork.
  • Follow established procedures and SOPs consistently.
  • Assist with loading/unloading deliveries and moving product using appropriate equipment as needed.
  • Support other distribution center departments and perform additional related duties as required.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 0–1 year of experience in order fulfillment, inventory management, warehouse operations, or data entry preferred.
  • Experience using RF scanners and computerized inventory systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Dependable, reliable, and able to follow established procedures and SOPs.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-performance, team-oriented environment with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to meet productivity, accuracy, attendance, and punctuality standards.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Must have clean background and pass drug screen

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to stand, walk, reach, and bend for up to 8 hours a day, with breaks.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Assistance is available upon request for lifting packages
  • Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
