Job Description

Job Location: Waterbury, CT - Waterbury, CT 06708Hubbard-Hall is a 176-year-old industrial chemical company that competes by being smarter, faster, and more helpful than much larger competitors.
We are looking for a student who is excited about chemical processes and continuous improvement in manufacturing and learn more about chemical industry and processes
What You’ll Work On
You will help support continuous improvement, with challenges such as:
- Capacity evaluation and propose alternatives for debottlenecking
- Identify and propose process improvements for safety, quality and productivity
- Map auxiliary processes to production, and identify opportunities to streamline/automate them
- Support documentation review and update into quality system
You will not be observing. You will be building.
What You’ll Learn
- How chemical manufacturing process works
- How to turn data collection into action plan till execution
- How to work directly with production and other areas in improvement projects

QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For

- Is comfortable with data, spreadsheets
- Has used tools like Excel, or basic data analytics tools
- Is curious, self-directed, and enjoys solving real problems
- Wants to learn how AI is changing how companies actually operate
