【このポジションはどんな仕事？】
本ポジションは、自動車用空調製品（HVAC・エアコン・換気装置）の生産工程を支えるProcess Manufacturing Engineering Engineerです。

新製品の量産立ち上げから、生産ラインの改善、設備導入、Lean活動まで幅広く担当し、より効率的で品質の高い生産体制を構築していきます。

単に設備を維持するだけではなく、「どうすればもっと良くなるか」を自ら考え、データ分析や改善提案を行いながら、生産工程を進化させていくポジションです。改善アイデアを実際の生産現場へ反映できるため、大きな達成感を得られる環境です。

◎ Valeo Japan consists of four divisions:
　１）Power Division: Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions related to thermal management, comfort, and electric powertrains to accelerate electrification.

　２）Brain Division: Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions to accelerate ADAS adoption and reinvent the interior experience.

　３）Light Division: Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions driving "Lighting Everywhere."

　４）Valeo Service Division: Handles after-sales services for all products across Divisions 1 to 3.

【What is this role?】
This is a Process / Manufacturing Engineering Engineer position supporting the production processes for automotive climate control products (HVAC, air conditioning, and ventilation systems).

You will cover a wide range of responsibilities-from launching new product mass production to improving production lines, introducing equipment, and driving Lean activities-building a more efficient and high-quality production system.

Rather than simply maintaining equipment, this role challenges you to think independently about how to make processes better. You will analyze data, propose improvements, and advance the manufacturing process. Seeing your improvement ideas directly reflected on the actual shop floor makes this a highly rewarding environment.

【Background of Recruitment】
We are recruiting a new member to succeed the current engineer, who has been promoted internally to a manager position.

We have a well-established training framework in place, allowing you to grow while taking over accumulated technical expertise.

【Key Responsibilities】

◎ Production Process Improvement

• Production data analysis
• Improvement of equipment uptime and cycle times
• Improvement activities for Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD)
• Driving Lean Manufacturing activities
• Planning and execution of improvement ideas

◎ Shop Floor Support

• Technical support for production engineering staff
• Analysis and troubleshooting of equipment issues
• Technical meetings with suppliers
• Cross-functional collaboration on improvement initiatives

◎ Standardization & Continuous Improvement

• Development and maintenance of standard processes
• Standardization of manufacturing processes
• Promotion of 5S and safety activities
• Ongoing productivity improvement activities

【必須（MUST）】

• Practical experience in production engineering, process improvement, etc., in the manufacturing industry (guideline: 3-5 years)
• Japanese: Business level (ability to communicate smoothly both internally, externally, and with suppliers)
• English: Conversational level or above (comfortable with reading/writing emails and internal communication)

【歓迎（WANT）】

• Production engineering experience in the automotive industry
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing
• Experience in equipment introduction and production line setup
• Experience in process improvement and IE (Industrial Engineering)
• Experience in improvement activities utilizing data analysis
• Experience negotiating with suppliers
• Knowledge of HVAC and air conditioning products
