Job Description

We're looking for a Planning Systems & Process Manager to drive the evolution of our planning capabilities. In this role, you'll combine your understanding of planning processes with system expertise to optimize ways of working, lead digital transformation initiatives, and play a key role in our SAP S/4HANA implementation. Working closely with both business and technology teams, you'll help ensure our planning processes are efficient, standardized, and ready for the future.

Core Responsibilities

In this role, you will own planning systems and process governance, drive technical transformation initiatives including SAP S/4HANA implementation activities, and support digitalization and data-driven decision-making across the planning function.

More specifically, you will:

  • Support and continuously improve planning systems and digital tools, ensuring process stability and effective user adoption.
  • Lead planning-related improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, automation, and digitalization.
  • Act as the l ocal planning representative for ERP transformation activities, including testing, process validation, and business readiness.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for planning processes, governance, and SAP-related system enhancements.
  • Maintain and develop planning reports and analytics, ensuring data accuracy and actionable insights.
  • Partner with BI and Digital teams to enhance reporting capabilities, automation, and data visualization solutions.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting using SAP BW, Power BI, and Excel to support operational and strategic decision-making.

This position is a fixed-term opportunity for 3 years, placed in our Nyíregyháza manufacturing site and there is no relocation assistance offered for this role.

This is not a people-leader position, it is an individual contributor role.

Our Supply Chain team balances demand, inventory, and capacity for products manufactured in Hungary and delivered across Europe. In this senior specialist role, you will serve as a key planning authority and trusted partner to both local and global stakeholders. Beyond ensuring operational excellence, you will lead improvement initiatives, contribute to strategic projects, and help shape the future of planning processes and capabilities across the organization.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Experience in production planning, supply chain planning, or planning systems within a manufacturing environment.
  • Good understanding of planning processes, including inventory management, capacity planning, and process governance.
  • Experience supporting process improvement, standardization, or digitalization initiatives.
  • Experience working with SAP and other ERP systems; exposure to SAP S/4HANA transformation projects is an advantage.
  • Experience using reporting and analytics tools such as Excel, SAP BW, Power BI, or Power Automate.
  • Experience contributing to cross-functional projects, ideally related to process optimization, ERP implementation, or systems transformation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and translate business needs into practical solutions.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
