The Process Technician position is responsible for taking customer-provided engineering prints and drawings and accurately converting them into Zuken plots and documentation.

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, can interpret technical drawings, and is comfortable working with computer-aided design (CAD) software. Accuracy is critical, as the completed Zuken plot must faithfully represent the customer's original print and specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Review customer prints, drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Interpret engineering drawings and accurately transfer information into Zuken software.
• Create Zuken plots based on customer-provided prints and documentation.
• Verify that all dimensions, notes, callouts, symbols, and other required details are accurately represented.
• Compare completed Zuken plots against the original customer documentation to identify discrepancies or missing information.
• Follow established company procedures, drafting standards, and customer requirements.
• Maintain organized and accurate electronic files and documentation.
• Identify potential errors or inconsistencies in customer prints before creating the final plot.
• Make revisions and corrections as needed while maintaining document accuracy and version control.
• Meet established deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND STANDARDS:

• Experience using Zuken software preferred.
• Previous experience with CAD, drafting, electrical documentation, or technical drawings is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical prints.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn specialized software.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and ask appropriate questions when information is unclear.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
