PURPOSE:

To provide technical support to the production process in formulation, pour technology

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Troubleshoot and implement action plans to solve part problems. This will require interaction with Production, Tooling, Quality and/or Maintenance groups.
• Line start-up and shut-down procedures.
• Schedule changes.
• React to process related quality problems including load variations. Work on advance quality planning teams.
• ERT participation required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Good working knowledge of manufacturing process.
• Knowledge of quality requirements.
• Positive and constructive attitude.
• Required to work shifts.

Education:

High School Diploma or Associates Degree in Science Discipline.

Experience:

3+ years of production experience in “on-line” operation.

Skills:

Good Communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Basic computer knowledge required.

Working Conditions: Majority of time in plant environment. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Working Schedule Standard work hours will consist of 8 hours per day, 5 days a week on an assigned shift. Schedule hours may be altered as required by the training needs of employees. Ability to work overtime or irregular hours to include Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as requested.

Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
