The UK Tax Reporting team manages HMRC and IRS reporting, tax compliance, and risk oversight across ISAs, Workplace and Retail Pensions, General Investment Accounts (GIAs), FATCA/CRS, and other regulatory reporting obligations. The team also ensures accurate client tax reporting through Annual Tax Vouchers and other required tax certifications.
About your role
The purpose of this role is to support the Senior Manager, UK Tax Reporting, in the effective management and delivery of the team's regulatory and operational responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day tax reporting activities, ensuring the accurate production, review and submission of UK tax reporting obligations and associated regulatory returns.
The role requires developing and maintaining a detailed understanding of UK tax reporting processes, controls and regulatory requirements, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives, change programmes and business projects with tax reporting implications. Responsibilities will also include delivering training and knowledge-sharing across the team, maintaining Management Information (MI) and performing and documenting quality assurance checks, identifying risks and control weaknesses, and collaborating with stakeholders to investigate issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.
