Job Description

Our client is seeking a Process Safety Engineer to lead and implement process safety programs across terminal sites in Texas and Louisiana. This is a key role ensuring regulatory compliance, process risk mitigation, and a zero-incident culture. Title: Process Safety Engineer  Type: Long term contractLocation: Deer Park, TXIndustry: Terminal & StorageW2 Employment only, No C2C, No Sponsorship Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for PSM, RMP, and QRA.
  • Lead HAZOPs, LOPAs, and Human Reliability Analyses.
  • Support audits, investigations, training, and SOP development.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and API standards.
 Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Process Safety (Master’s preferred)
  • 5+ years’ experience in process safety or operations within the chemical industry
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA 1910.119, EPA RMP, and API 754
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and risk management skills
This position requires regular field engagement and travel between terminals.
