Job Description

The FBS Hungary Business Process Engineer, also called a Process Re-engineer, works in partnership with Skill Teams and Business Units to drive global process standardization, optimization, efficiency, and improved experience through workflow simplification, utilization of design thinking, and intelligent automation. The successful candidate will remain at the forefront of the field by staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in business process re-engineering methodologies to ensure Ford utilizes best-in-class transformation strategies.

The PRE Engineer will partner with Skill team leaders, Business Units, PRE peers and FBS center global strategy teams to:

· Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and bottlenecks.

· Support business process performance improvement by identifying and leading projects that improve the business process execution by leveraging automation, lean principles, and process simplification.

· Assess complex operational situations to develop and implement practical, scalable solutions.

· Collaborate with Data & Technology teams to deliver digital solutions.

· Contribute to establishing business process re-engineering into a recognized enterprise capability.

· Support Ford OS priorities and execution.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the proven ability to assess complex situations and develop practical, results-oriented solutions.

· Self-motivated with a “can do” positive attitude and a passion for solving complex organizational problems.

· Time Management: Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Journey Mapping: Skilled in process mapping and user journey mapping to ensure a human-centric approach to re-engineering.

· Agility: Comfortable adjusting objectives to support evolving enterprise priorities

· Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (GB): Strong foundation in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

· Process Modeling Knowledge: Mastery of tools such as SIPOC, Value Stream/Process Mapping, VA/NVA analysis, and the 8 Wastes.

· Tools for transformation: A minimum of a strong conceptual understanding of coding e.g. Python and how it can be utilized to automate manual/repetitive tasks. Familiarity with RPA tools such as PEGA. The ability to at a minimum conceptualizes automated workflows.

· Digital Transformation & Visualization: Familiarity with the capabilities of tools such Microsoft Power Automate for streamlining workflow automation.

· Emerging Technology Awareness: Knowledge of AI technologies and Large Language Models (LLMs), specifically regarding prompt engineering and its integration into Business Process Automation (BPA) frameworks driving operational efficiencies.

· Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and automated reporting is highly desirable

· Communication: Excellent presentation skills in English with the ability to translate complex technical findings into actionable business insights for a global audience.

· Experience: Proven track record of implementing analytics-based process improvements.
