Job Description

At the BMW Group, everything starts with passion. We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Process Quality Engineer In this role, you will lead shopfloor quality management, oversee process optimization, manage integration during project ramp-ups, and coordinate cross-functional task forces to ensure maximum quality standards across production clusters.

What awaits you?

  • Lead initial problem analysis and define immediate containment and long-term corrective measures for shopfloor quality issues.
  • Act as the primary operational contact for defect analysis, rework activities, NOK (non-conforming parts) handling, and processes.
  • Conduct process audits, verify corrective measure implementation, and prepare quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for management reporting Serve as the quality interface for Process FMEA across all teams and establish standard workflows, process instructions, and visual Q-checks.
  • Solve quality errors by collaborating across departments, proposing process/design optimizations, and tracking solutions through QM systems.
  • Continuously optimize and harmonize quality processes, supplier concepts, and standards across production clusters.

What should you bring along?

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial, Mechanical, Automotive, Quality Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Process Quality, or Production Quality within the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge in core automotive quality tools (PFMEA, 8D / Root Cause Analysis, SPC, Process Audits, Initial Sample Inspection
  • Analyticalskill, strong cross-functional communication, leadership in guiding task forces, and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced English
