The P2 process Project team member is responsible for her/his project process development field in terms of QCDM . As such, she/he ensures the activities necessary to the achievement of the project objectives. When the activities are related to a particular expertise, she/he can rely on specialists or contributors but she/he keeps on being responsible for the results.

YOUR CHALLENGES:

Safety

• Ensure within her/his scope the consideration and treatment of risks related to Safety and the Environment by respecting the safety rules and the conditions of use of the equipment

Generic activities (during the whole project)

• To participate actively in project team activities: meetings, preparation of the end of phase reviews, QFD, functional analysis, functional and technical specifications, analysis of the value, analysis of the general project risks, Generic FMEA (design, product, process), Standard Control Plan, etc...
• To draw up the detailed planning of the Process Engineering work in collaboration with the PG/PL/Platform Process Engineering manager. Holds a weekly review of the latter, the daily updates and initiates corrective actions.
• To organize and to manage the contributors who are assigned to her/him by the metier managers (Process Engineering, Technical Departments functions, Purchasing...).
• To draw up and to manage the budget of the Process Engineering costs and the Methods and Quality investments specific to the project.
• To have the developments in the project validated regularly by the PG/PL/Platform Process Engineering manager, the experts and the managers of departments at least before each change of phase.
• To apply the New process Brick Development procedur

• To support the Process Technology benchmark.
• To support the “make or buy” decisions with the Purchasing member
• To identify the expertise needs
• To build the ICP
• To support the process selection to be developed

Specific Activities for the process definition

• To Contribute for the process definition: flow chart, process description, “process Assembly Drawing”
• To challenge R&D on the manufacturability of the product: DFA, DFM, DTF…
• To perform P-FMEA and control plan
• To check IP clearance and to write patent
• To validate the proof of concept

Specific Activities for the process validation

• To write the prototype equipment specifications
• To buy the representative equipment
• To follow-up prototypes assembly
• To perform process validation
• To follow-up product validation on process needs

Specific Activities for the process standardization

• To write process standards.
• To update all process documentation
• To draw up process recommendations for P1
• To archive all process documentation

LET´S TALK ABOUT YOU:

• Secondary or University education in a technical field
• Experience in a similar position min. 5 years
• Experience in launching new projects with a high degree of automation.
• Communicative level of English (knowledge of German is an advantage).
• Responsible and proactive approach, with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Analytical thinking and the ability to find effective solutions.
• Knowledge of quality tools and manufacturing systems (FMEA, PDCA, FTA, VSA, Poka-Yoke).
• Ability to navigate technical documentation and work with 3D drawings and viewers.
• Willingness to travel to other manufacturing plant in Europe
• Valid driving license (Category B).
