Process Planner/Manufacturing Technician

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm

$22–$27/hour, commensurate with experience

We are seeking a detail-oriented Process Planner/Manufacturing Technician to join our team and play a key role in developing, documenting, and optimizing our production processes. This position sits at the intersection of engineering and production which is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on problem-solving, technical documentation, and continuous improvement. In this role you will collaborate closely with engineering and production teams from design through final assembly

Process Planner/Manufacturing Technician Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on manufacturing knowledge
• Proficiency in CAD software (Solid Edge, AutoCAD, or similar)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering/technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
• Associate's degree or technical certificate in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on work experience
• This position is subject to FAA/DOT pre-employment and random drug screening requirements
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, surface treatment, or assembly
• Experience creating work instructions, process sheets, or manufacturing documentation
• Exposure to shot peening, surface finishing, or aerospace/defense manufacturing environments
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Process Planner/Manufacturing Technician Responsibilities

• Develop and document production procedures and basic tooling for metal part processing
• Design part-holding, testing, and masking fixtures using Solid Edge CAD software
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure processes meet quality and customer requirements
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency and manufacturability
• Contribute to process optimization from design concept through final assembly
• Learn CNC and robotic programming, a growth opportunity available to motivated team members
