Process Planner
Peening Technologies Equipment, LLC
East Hartford, CT

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 730 am to 400 pm

Hourly range $22/hour to $27/hour, commensurate with experience

We are a long-standing, family-owned company comprised of three closely held businesses, seeking aProcess Planner to support our manufacturing operations. The Process Planner will supportdevelopment and optimization production processes, the creation of clear and effective manufacturing documentation, and ongoing efforts to maintain quality and operational efficiency from design through final assembly.

Process PlannerJobQualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidEdge, AutoCAD, or similar) required
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining and assembly preferred
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
• This position is subject to the FAA/DOT pre-employment and random drug screening program

Process Planner Job Responsibilities

• Develop and document production procedures and basic tooling for metal part processing.
• Design part‑holding, testing, and masking fixtures using Solid Edge.
• Ability to learn CNC and robotic programming may offer opportunities for rapid growth within the role.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance workflow efficiency and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure processes meet quality and customer requirements.
