We are seeking Process Operators to join our Production team at our Marton Factory, the home of TUX. Successful candidates will be employed on rotating shifts in our baking operation, day and night shifts, a 12-hour shift roster, or in our packing department on dayshift Mon-Fri.
A DAY IN THE LIFE…
As a Production Operator your responsibilities will include:
Playing a key role in ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Ensuring production meets our exacting quality standards.
Working together with a small team to deliver planned production quantities.
Operation of modern, high speed, automated machinery.
Changing machinery settings to produce a range of pack sizes and products.
Maintaining machinery and the work environment with pride.
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not necessary as on-the-job training will be provided.
A day in the life…
Reporting to the Line Owner, key responsibilities include:
Process routine paperwork
Process routine line transactions
Accurately manage material consumption and transfers
Accurate documentation
Perform on-line QA testing/checks
Complete machine changes, setting disassembly and re-assembly for cleaning purposes.
Adhere to all Safety, Quality and GMP requirements.
Competent using factory operating systems such as SAP and complete SAP transactions
Participate in Shift Handovers and Operational reviews
Complete line reporting and documentation
Assist with trouble shooting
What will make you successful
Experience in FMCG manufacturing is advantageous
Experience participating in a basic SH&E and Food Safety training preferred.
Be reliable and trustworthy with an outstanding attitude.
Be flexible and a team player.
Take pride in your work environment to maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards.
Be great at communication, interpersonal skills and problem-solving.
Applicants will be required to undergo pre-employment checks, including but not limited to health checks and drug/alcohol testing, prior to appointment to this role.
