Job Description

  • Permanent - Full-time position – Yatala, QLD
  • $35.88 per hour
  • Monday to Friday - must be available for 4 am starts (initial start time is 6 am during training period)
  • Available for overtime and Saturdays as required – Overtime paid at penalty rates
  • Uniforms and PPE provided

The Opportunity:

  • Efficiently directing industrial liquid waste through the correct systems to ensure safety
  • Operating and monitoring processing equipment
  • Conduct industrial liquid waste sample analysis
  • Loading and unloading industrial liquid waste
  • Transferring waste from collection containers, loading and unloading primarily liquid waste trucks
  • Diagnose faults in plant and equipment

About You:

  • C class drivers and forklift licence
  • First aid certificate and fire extinguisher training would be highly regarded
  • Experience operating machinery in an industrial environment
  • Experience in processing and or wastewater treatment facilities would be advantageous
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts and overtime with short notice is essential
