Job Description

  • Permanent - Full-time position – Karratha, WA
  • $600 weekly housing allowance
  • $38.38 hour + penalties for overtime
  • Monday to Friday, 6am to 4pm, with optional Saturday work available
  • Flexible start and finish times available

Your new role:

  • General equipment maintenance
  • Loading, unloading and movement of waste streams on site
  • Transferring waste from collection containers
  • Operating Excavators and Loaders
  • Operation of diaphragm and mono pumps to transfer bulk liquids.
  • Transferring waste from collection containers, loading and unloading primarily liquid waste trucks
  • General site cleaning and labouring
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work site

Your skills and experience:

  • Mechanical aptitude & proficient with hand tools
  • Experience with fixed plant, industrial plumbing, or treatment plant maintenance is highly regarded
  • C-class drivers at a minimum
  • Forklift licence required
  • HR, licence Loader, and excavator tickets are highly regarded
  • Physically fit and able to pass pre-employment medical and drug test
  • Zero-harm safety mindset
