Job Description:
Star Services LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Process Operator to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a Process Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various equipment and processes in the oil and gas industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain process equipment such as pumps, compressors, separators, and heaters
- Monitor and control process variables to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues in a timely manner
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Communicate with other team members to coordinate activities and ensure smooth operations
- Keep accurate records of production and equipment performance
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering or any engineering discipline
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
- Knowledge of process equipment and operations
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Willingness to work on a 7-day work week schedule
- Must be able to work offshore for extended periods of time.
