The Process Modeling Analyst will support business process management and process modeling activities using tools including Celonis and/or SAP Signavio. This role works with IT, data teams, process owners, and business stakeholders to model processes, analyze process data, and translate business rules that support process improvement and operational decision-making.
- Apply BPM methodology to document, analyze, and improve business processes.
- Create and maintain process models, process maps, workflows, business rules, and related documentation.
- Analyze process data, validate data quality, identify inconsistencies, and support issue resolution.
- Translate business rules and process requirements into process rules, data requirements, or platform configurations.
- Support process mining activities, including data extraction, transformation, integration, and data dictionary maintenance.
- Merge, clean, and transform data from multiple sources using SQL, ETL tools, Python, or similar methods.
- Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, rework, exceptions, and optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with global IT, data, and business teams to support process modeling and analytics initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in process modeling, BPM methodology, process mining, data analysis, data engineering, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience or practical exposure to Celonis and/or SAP Signavio BPM/process modeling tools and familiar with process modeling concept.
- Working knowledge of process mining concepts such as event logs, cases, activities, timestamps, variants, bottlenecks, and rework.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis.
- Familiarity with ETL processes, data integration, and scripting languages such as Python.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with global technical and business teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across global teams.
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
- Knowledge of business processes such as Order-to-Cash, Purchase-to-Pay / Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, or Master Data Management.
- Experience with SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, SAP HANA, or other enterprise systems.
- Experience creating data dictionaries, source-to-target mappings, process mining event logs, or dashboard requirements.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud, or other analytics tools.
- Certification or training in BPMN, BPM methodology, process mining, Celonis, SAP Signavio, SQL, Python, or data engineering.
- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, IT project delivery, or global transformation programs.
