Process Mechanic – 3rd Shift

Pay

$32.83 - $38.29 hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Plus shift differential of $2.00 for any hours worked on 3rd Shift

Schedule

3rd Shift (Sunday – Thursday, 10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.)

Onsite; other days and hours as needed

McKee Foods is seeking a Process Mechanic to join our Maintenance team.

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair all equipment necessary to the manufacturing function in process area
• Perform other related duties as needed

Required Qualifications

• Working knowledge and thorough understanding of pneumatics, power transmissions (chain drives, e.g.), pumps, valves and bearing application
• Technical maintenance training
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve mechanical equipment issues
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints and drawings
• Accurate measuring ability
• Ability to furnish personal tools as required on the Process Mechanic tool list
• Demonstrated ability to promote continuous process improvement and LEAN principles

Preferred Qualifications

• Sketching ability
• Four years of industrial maintenance experience
• Experience as a Maintenance Utility at McKee Foods
• Hydraulics experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain an L.T.O. Lift Truck Operator license
• Electrical training at a technical school
• Basic welding and fabrication
• Basic machine shop
