Project Role : Process & Manufacturing Engineer

Project Role Description : Design and optimize chemical, thermal, and/or mechanical industrial processes from concept through commissioning, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations. Specify equipment, conduct risk assessments, and resolve process issues, while scaling and improving manufacturing workflows, tools, and quality standards to enable reliable, cost-effective production aligned with project objectives.

Summary:

As a Process and Manufacturing Engineer, a typical day involves designing and establishing detailed processes for fabricating, assembling, inspecting, and testing new products and machinery. This role requires careful planning to ensure that production engineering and design principles are effectively applied. The engineer also focuses on identifying and defining the necessary tools and fixtures that support efficient production workflows. Additionally, the day includes developing comprehensive procedures, setting product specifications, and establishing quality standards along with inspection methods to maintain high levels of product integrity and performance throughout the manufacturing cycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes and improve product quality.
  • Monitor production activities to ensure adherence to defined procedures and quality standards.
  • Assist in troubleshooting manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing process data and recommending enhancements.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Network Infrastructures.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing process design and implementation.
  • Experience in developing and documenting production procedures and quality inspection methods.
  • Ability to define and specify tools and fixtures required for manufacturing operations.
  • Familiarity with quality standards and product specification development.
  • Competence in coordinating with engineering and production teams to ensure process compliance.

Additional Information

  • The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Network Infrastructures.
  • This position is based at our Gurugram office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
