Job Description

Our award-winning client is seeking a Process Manager to join their team.As a Process Manager, you will play a critical role in optimizing process performance and driving continuous improvement within our manufacturing operations. You will oversee all aspects of process engineering, ensuring efficient and effective production while minimizing costs and maximizing yield.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and support to ensure optimal process performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
• Monitor and control chemical usage variances to optimize material utilization and minimize costs.
• Evaluate and implement new materials and methods to improve process performance and product quality.
• Train and develop staff to enhance their technical skills and capabilities.
• Work closely with production, quality, and other departments to identify and address process-related issues.
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets, ensuring prudent allocation of resources and cost control.
• Play a key role in implementing and maintaining health, safety, and quality standards.
• Provide strong leadership and mentorship to your team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of process experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Proven leadership skills and experience managing teams.
• Deep understanding of process equipment (controls, metering, mixing, etc.).
• Expertise in polyurethane foam formulation and processing.
• Strong knowledge of urethane chemistry.
• Experience in project coordination and supervision.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot process and equipment issues effectively.
• Strong computer skills.
• Knowledge of HS&E policies, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in implementing new programs (AQP, VAVE, quality).
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, 5S, and Kaizen principles.
