Job Description

Our award-winning client is seeking a Process Manager to join their team. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of process and production performance for their foam manufacturing operations. You'll lead a team of engineers and technicians, driving continuous improvement through process innovation and cost control.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the Process Engineering function, including a team of engineers and technicians.

• Focus on continuous improvement of foam part manufacturing through process innovation.

• Control chemical usage variances and evaluate new materials and methods.

• Train staff on technical matters related to foam manufacturing.

• Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, and other departments.

• Lead Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) efforts to minimize production issues.

• Manage the departmental budget, ensuring efficient cost control.

• Maximize production yield through continuous improvement initiatives.

• Play a key role in health, safety, and quality audits and safety leadership programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical preferred).

• Minimum 5 years of process engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

• Strong leadership skills and supervisory/management experience.

• Thorough understanding of process equipment (automatic controls, metering systems, etc.).

• Experience in polyurethane foam formulation and processing.

• Strong knowledge of urethane chemistry.

• Experience in project coordination and leading teams.

• Ability to troubleshoot process and production equipment issues effectively.

• Proficient in computer skills.

• Knowledge of HS&E policies and regulations.

• Experience in implementing quality improvement programs (AQP, VAVE, Lean Manufacturing, etc.)
