About the Position

As a Senior Analyst – Record to Report (R2R) at Flora Food Group, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and efficient end-to-end accounting operations while supporting the continuous evolution of our global finance processes. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, driving process standardization, and partnering with stakeholders across the business to improve operational performance.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional with a strong background in Record-to-Report processes, ERP systems, and financial reporting who is passionate about continuous improvement, automation, and delivering high-quality finance operations in a global shared services environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Reporting

  • Perform accurate end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) accounting activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Provide expertise across journal entries, month-end and year-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, and financial statement preparation.
  • Monitor and resolve accounting discrepancies while ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
  • Support cross-functional teams including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and Tax on R2R-related activities.

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive automation and process standardization using ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle and BlackLine.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and enhance service delivery.
  • Support the preparation of KPIs, governance dashboards, and operational reporting to monitor R2R performance.
  • Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are maintained and regularly updated.

Stakeholder Management & Knowledge Sharing

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders while maintaining high service standards and meeting agreed KPIs.
  • Share R2R best practices, system enhancements, and regulatory updates across finance teams.
  • Support knowledge transfer initiatives and deliver training to junior team members where required.

So, what does it take to be successful in this role?

  • Strong experience in end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.
  • Sound understanding of accounting principles, IFRS/GAAP, internal controls, and financial statement preparation.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP or Oracle ERP; experience with BlackLine and finance process automation is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to identify process improvement opportunities and drive operational excellence within a Shared Services or Global Business Services environment.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
