Job Description

The role is responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of standardised, structured process knowledge that enables AI-driven automation and agent-based workflows across Global Delivery, within the Agentic AI Program.

The role focuses on converting Agent Operating Procedures (AOPs) into consistent, reusable knowledge assets that can be integrated into Knowledge Graphs and automation platforms.

The individual will work as part of a broader team, collaborating with business, product, and technology stakeholders to ensure AOP knowledge is accurate, scalable, and fit for use in automation and AI-driven processes. The role operates within the four-step knowledge-led AOP creation methodology (LLM-generated best-practice draft → SME enrichment → consolidation & iteration → governance & sign-off) that underpins the Agentic AI Program.

Key Responsibilities

1. AOP Standardisation and Knowledge Structuring

  • Support the application of standard methodologies for AOP design and documentation

  • Convert AOPs into structured formats aligned to defined templates and standards, capturing actions, decision criteria, data checks, and resolution options

  • Maintain AOP repositories, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and completeness

  • Identify opportunities for process simplification and alignment to standards

2. Knowledge Graph and Automation Enablement

  • Assist in translating AOPs into formats suitable for reuse within knowledge graph and automation solutions

  • Work with engineering and AI teams to ensure AOP knowledge is aligned to system requirements

  • Support integration of AOP knowledge into automation and agent-based workflows

  • Support execution of LLM-generated AOP drafts in collaboration with LLM & Prompt Specialists

3. SME Collaboration and Knowledge Capture

  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to capture and document process knowledge

  • Support the consolidation of knowledge across functions into structured, reusable formats

  • Ensure alignment of AOP content with established definitions and process logic

  • Capture institutional knowledge (client nuances, system quirks, edge cases) within AOP documentation

4. Governance, Quality and Control

  • Apply defined quality standards and review processes for AOP documentation

  • Support governance activities including version control, updates, and repository management

  • Ensure AOPs reflect required control points and process steps

  • Maintain documentation in line with audit and compliance expectations

  • Maintain version control and audit trails for AOP approvals

5. Delivery and Continuous Improvement

  • Support delivery of AOP knowledge assets required for automation and AI initiatives within the Agentic AI Program

  • Contribute to reducing process duplication and inconsistent documentation

  • Identify and escalate opportunities to improve process standardisation and efficiency

6. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product Owners, SMEs, and technology teams

  • Support alignment of AOP documentation to business needs and project timelines

  • Communicate updates and progress in a clear and structured manner

  • Support adoption of AOP standards across teams

Qualifications and Experience

Required

  • Experience in process documentation, operations, or transformation roles within a large organisation

  • Familiarity with AOP/SOP development, process mapping, or operational procedures

  • Understanding of structured documentation and standardisation approaches

  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders

  • Strong written communication and attention to detail

Preferred

  • Exposure to automation, AI, or process optimisation initiatives

  • Understanding of knowledge management tools or structured data concepts

  • Familiarity with Knowledge Graphs, large language models (LLMs), or agent-based systems

  • Experience in financial services operations (e.g. Fund Accounting, Custody, Transfer Agency, Middle Office)

Skills and Competencies

  • Process documentation and organisation

  • Attention to detail and quality orientation

  • Structured thinking and problem solving

  • Stakeholder communication and collaboration

  • Ability to work within defined frameworks and standards

Leadership and Behavioural Expectations

  • Demonstrates accountability for assigned deliverables

  • Works effectively within a team-based delivery model

  • Proactively identifies improvement opportunities and escalates where appropriate

  • Adapts to evolving priorities within transformation initiatives

  • Builds effective working relationships across teams

Impact

This role contributes to:

  • Building a consistent and structured AOP knowledge base

  • Supporting delivery of automation and AI-enabled solutions within the Agentic AI Program

  • Improving process consistency and documentation quality

  • Enabling scalable operations through standardised process knowledge

The AVP-level AOP Knowledge role plays a key execution role in capturing, structuring, and maintaining the process knowledge assets that fuel agent-ready process graphs and underpin AI-driven operations across Global Delivery.
