Hatch is seeking a Process Intern (Oil & Gas). Reporting to the Energy group, you will support offices globally working from our Houston, TX office location.

At Hatch, we greatly value in-person interaction and collaboration and are therefore an in-office environment. While flexibility is always provided to work remotely when needed, we encourage our teams to be in the office for most of the time. Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical or process engineering
• Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale

As the successful candidate, you will:

• Identify production bottlenecks, develop and execute action plans, and assess the results
• Assist Process Engineer(s) with designs, support, research and calculations
• Provide technical support for production, maintenance, environmental, and quality
• Document problems related to the process or systems as seen or received from production

You bring to the role:

• Effective report writing skills, planning and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel to various Hatch offices, project, and supplier sites subject to project requirements
• Previous co-op or internship experience is considered an asset

• Perform assignments related to your sector
• Assist with preparation of detailed design for projects
• Support preparation of drawings from detailed notes and specifications
• Coordination with other technicians/engineers on projects
• Provide support to Senior Engineers and Designers as and when needed
