Job Details:

Performs electrical validation and fault isolation to products that failed test and finds the physical defects associated with the electrical failure. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Perform electrical validation and fault isolation using analytical tools such as Parametric Analyzer (I/V analysis), Keithley meter, iTDR, EOTPR, CTMB/ SBTS, micro-probing, SEM/EDX, IRLC etc.
• Perform CSAM (C-mode Scanning Acoustic Microscopy) to detect defect.
• Perform X-ray imaging inspection on failure sample to detect package defect.
• Using sample preparation/ material analysis tools such as Auto lid shear, Mechanical Polisher, Micro Abrasion, Chemical Etching, HAAS, X-prep, SEM/EDX, FTIR, FIB, IRLC etc. to reveal the defect or failure.
• Perform dimension measurement task and visual inspection using Microscope.
• Able to complete Failure analysis task and reported out FA results on time.
• Positive attitude, discipline and be able to work in stressful and highly competitive environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Physics or other Science relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in Failure Analysis
• Demonstrated leadership potential with experience guiding, mentoring, or training team members during shifts
• Strong understanding of daily operations, workflows, and safety or compliance standards relevant to the role
• Ability to effectively lead shifts independently, ensuring productivity, quality, and service standards are met
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear instructions, feedback, and support to team members
• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, punctual, and flexible, with availability to work varied schedules, including weekends or holidays if required
• Strong customer-focus mindset with the ability to handle escalations professionally and courteously
