You’ll make a difference by:

  • AI Opportunity Discovery: Partner with global SCM and Operations stakeholders to identify high-impact AI use cases (e.g., predictive logistics, automated procurement, vendor risk assessment).
  • Solution Architecture: Design end-to-end AI workflows, including the selection of appropriate LLMs, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures, and multi-agent systems.
  • Advanced Prompt Engineering: Develop and refine complex, domain-specific prompt libraries that ensure high accuracy, safety, and reliability in AI outputs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Translate technical AI performance metrics into executive-ready KPIs, ensuring alignment with Siemens’ digitalization strategy.
  • Continuous Innovation: Stay at the forefront of AI trends (Agentic AI, Synthetic Data, FinOps) to proactively suggest improvements to existing GBS service lines.

Your success is grounded

  • Education: Engineering, Data science
  • Domain Expertise: 1-2 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Business Transformation, preferably within a global shared services (GBS) environment.
  • AI Proficiency: Proven experience in working with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and AI orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen).
  • Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of data structures, API integrations, and the AI development lifecycle (LLMOps). Python or SQL skills are a significant advantage.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to break down complex operational bottlenecks into structured logic that can be solved via AI.
  • Communication: Exceptional executive-ready communication skills, with the ability to influence global stakeholders at all levels.
