Work cross-functionally and closely with integrated teams in Manufacturing, Product Development, Purchasing, Marketing, Sales and Service.
In this position...
You’ll own prevent recurrence at the enterprise level. You’ll lead the governance and closure discipline behind prevent action closure (PAC), removing roadblock and driving timely decisions with broad visibility across global quality, manufacturing, and cross-functional partners.

This role is built for someone who likes turning complexity into standard work: tightening processes, improving closure performance, and strengthening audit/compliance readiness. Success is clear and trackable in cycle time, execution health, and quality outcomes.
You’ll modernize how people get work done (including AI-enabled improvements). You’ll help transform standards and procedures into a better end-user experience—simpler, faster, and more scalable—by driving digital deployments, smarter search/knowledge tools, and process excellence that creates lasting capability, not just one-time fixes.
What you'll do...

Turn requirements into standard work people actually use by owning key global quality standards/procedures (including revision cycles and governance), answering stakeholder questions through governance forums, and simplifying processes based on systemic learnings.
Deliver audit-ready procedures/standards by partnering with teams supporting Quality Operating System audits and corporate compliance expectations, tracking nonconformance closure, and using dashboards/scorecards to keep performance transparent and on-time.
Modernize the quality standards and procedures experience with digital + AI-enabled solutions—driving improvements like AI-assisted procedure writing and smarter search, and scaling digital checklists/tools to improve usability, traceability, and productivity in the manufacturing environment.
You'll have...
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field
5-10 years of experience in automotive manufacturing quality or regulatory compliance.
Proven leadership experience, including direct people management.
Strong understanding of quality systems (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 9001) and manufacturing operations.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Even better, you may have...
Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Technical Field.
Familiarity with Ford’s Quality Operating System framework and procedures/standards.
Six Sigma or Lean certification.
