We are looking for a:

Process Engineering Manager
(Full-time, 40 hours per week)

As a Process Engineering Manager, you will be part of the Engineering and Operations organization, taking a key role within a multidisciplinary project team to ensure the successful delivery of strategic projects. You will contribute to the definition, optimization, and implementation of process solutions for new production lines, ensuring efficiency, quality, and full compliance with company standards and industry regulations.

From early concept development through design, installation, commissioning, and handover to operations, you will be responsible for coordinating and driving all process-related activities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth project execution.

As Process engineering Manager , your responsibilities include:

  • Taking a leading role in process-related activities within project teams
  • Driving process design, development, and optimization for new production lines
  • Managing process-related project scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders (Operations, Quality, Safety, Engineering, Procurement)
  • Ensuring compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and local legislation
  • Defining process parameters, workflows, and performance metrics
  • Supporting equipment selection and ensuring proper process integration
  • Overseeing installation, commissioning, validation, and start-up activities
  • Identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Driving continuous improvement and process improvement initiatives

What we expect from a Process engineering Manager

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related fields)
  • Minimum 6–10 years of experience in process engineering within manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Proven experience in capital projects from design through implementation and start-up phases
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, process optimization, and industrial equipment
  • Experience in FMCG, food, pharmaceutical, or similar industries is an advantage
  • Experience with aseptic and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing processes is highly desirable
  • Experience with powder processing technologies (handling, dosing, mixing, conveying, packaging) is a strong advantage
  • Familiarity with hygienic design principles, cleanroom requirements, and contamination control
  • Solid understanding of utilities and their integration into production processes
  • Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental (SHE) standards and regulations
  • Financial awareness with experience in budget tracking, cost control, and basic finance principles
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external suppliers/contractors
  • Familiarity with SAP and project management tools is a plus
  • Strong analytical, structured, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities within complex projects
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
