
Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional, driven and innovative individual for our Process Engineering Intern position. As a Process Engineering Intern, a typical day might include the following:
Implement, modify, and document assembly processes.
Assist project execution, conduct experiments, collect and report results.
Assist new processes and new component qualification.
Design, implement, and modify tooling for process improvement.
Provide support to engineering staff and management as needed.
This job might be for you if you:
Are a current student pursuing a degree in an engineering or mathematics field at an accredited institution.
Have strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
Can learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
Can work cooperatively in a team environment.
Have background check results satisfactory to SEL.
Have negative drug test result(s).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience troubleshooting process machinery problems
Experience writing and/or conducting Design of Experiments
Working knowledge of basic analog and digital electronics
Working knowledge of electronics industry manufacturing processes and machinery
Familiarity with modern test equipment

Pay Range Data
($24.25 - $30.00 per hour)* Our intern pay is determined based on the internship role (the work you would be doing) and your year in school (when you plan to graduate). Talk to your recruiter if you are curious about the rate for your year in school.
