Job Description

Main Task:

Production and Technology Management
• Check if plant operated with proper process parameters to ensure plant operated smoothly;
• In charge of raw material and energy consumption statistic and provide technology support for optimization;
• Management of process optimization and improvement;
• Responsible for MOC raising;
• Solve the technical problem existed in the production;
• Coordinate plant-crossed MOC, plant trial activities;
• In charge of summary and submit of Asset Effectiveness(AE) of each plant, analyze production loss reason;
• In charge of data collection of asset development plan(ADP); compare data with other company and propose improvement plan;
• In charge of data collection of BASF Site Benchmarking (BSB) of production division.

Project Management
• Responsible for internal application and follow up;
• Coordinate with EHS fulfil authority application, approval and inspection;
• Participate technical negotiation, bidding and communication with technical vendor, equipment vendor and design institute, participate commercial bidding;
• Coordinate implementation and management of production/maintenance digitalization.

Department Cooperation
• Assist financial department to classify R&D cost;
• Assist business controlling department to do science and technology activities statistic and submit work;

Cooperate with sales department, do customer service;
• Support plants and EHS department with energy saving management;

Energy & Metrology Management
• Participate company energy and metering management;
• Prepare and implement energy and metering plan according to national regulation and company instruction, ensure compliance;
• Prepare energy saving plan and implement.

R&D Management
• Propose innovative thinking ideas, develop new technologies and new products;
• Propose innovative thinking ideas, reduce energy consumption, reduce emissions and improve efficiency, solve persistent troubles impacted on safety production
• Follow development of international and domestic relevant technologies, improve existing process with new technology;

ISO
• In charge of preparing procedure and regulation, supervising implementation in production division;
• As a member of ISO internal auditor, audit compliance of related department.

Technology Exchange
• Communicate with other BASF company to instruct production;
• Attend safety technology exchange meeting by international and domestic department or organization;
• Participate Experience Exchange Meeting.

Quality Management
• Implement and follow Company QM policies & procedures, cooperate with plants to improve product quality;
• Coordinate investigation and improvement on NCM.

Maintenance and Repairing
• Oversee and ensure the implementation of preventative maintenance and repairing programs;
• Coordinate and optimize maintenance activities with Maintenance & Engineering to ensure no interruption in production process and efficient use of machinery/equipment;
• Analyze production loss resulted by equipment, assist maintenance department to optimize equipment operation.

Requirements:
-Master degree or above with major in Chemical Engineering.
-At least 3 years of chemical production experience in process engineering or technical management.
-Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.
-Process systems design and/or optimization of major facilities in chemical industry.
