Process Engineer Intern

We are looking for a motivated Process Engineer Intern to join our team in Brugherio (MB), Italy. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing processes and lean methodologies while contributing to projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and reducing waste.

Working closely with the Operations and Engineering teams, you will support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in the optimization of production processes and facility layouts.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support the design and optimization of production layouts, applying Lean Manufacturing principles to improve workflow and efficiency.
  • Assist in managing relationships with suppliers and coordinating project-related activities.
  • Support the resolution of technical issues and contribute to the implementation of process improvements.
  • Conduct time and motion studies and analyze production data to identify opportunities for increased productivity and waste reduction.
  • Monitor the progress of continuous improvement initiatives and prepare reports on project performance and results.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of standardized work processes and operational best practices.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree student, or recent graduate, in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in CAD software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Team-oriented mindset and effective communication skills.
  • Good command of Italian and English, both written and spoken.
