About The Team

We are looking for a new colleague as the Process Engineer to be in charge of the process technology of Final Assembly & Testing for our business Wind Power, at our location of Tianjin, China.

What you can look forward to as Process Engineer - Final Assembly & Test?

• Act as the Process Owner for Final Assembly & Test for wind power. Be in charge of: New product introduction, process validation including Process documents preparation; Ensure ZF quality requirements at assembly processes; Ensure Day-to-day trouble shooting to have smooth production; Ensure Safety, Productivity, Cost and Quality improvement projects; Maintain periodic report on key technical parameters.
• Based on the drawings and specifications of the Gearbox provided by the R&D department product developers, in charge of translating the same into the assembly process – “how to process the Assembly and Test with right method”, by Design for Assembly and Test analysis with R&D; Define and Validation of equipment with new technology; Preparing Process flow, Process FMEA, Control plans; Preparing process documents such as Process drawing, check sheet, process sheet, work instruction; Validation of Assembly and Test process and defining cycle time in routing; Optimize the layout of workshop with LEAN Principles; Training Operators etc.
• Works as a helpdesk for giving solution for the process / Product / related shop floor problems through Quality Tools (8D, 6 Sigma) wherein all the knowledge of the assembly workshop is covered and available.
• Gives necessary input to Machine Maintenance dept. in order to define preventive maintenance programs, which improve process solidity. Assists in building new machines and installations and in the commissioning process.
• Verifies that Safety and Environment management are integrated in the working instructions. Based on the role's technical authority, this role should give the right example in behaving following the safety and environment management procedures and regulations.

Your Profile as Process Engineer - Final Assembly & Test:

• Masters or bachelor’s degree in engineering (Preferably in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation) with 2 to 5 yrs. Of experience in the field of Transmission or heavy equipment assembly and Test processes.
• Expert in design of clamping and material handling equipment for Assembly and Test processes. Has the Expert knowledge of Transmission or heavy equipment Assembly and Test process. Basic knowledge of Limits and fits in Assembly, bearing clearances and Preloads and Bolting technologies.
• Knows the Wind gearbox load test with tooling preparation i.e. torque flange, hydraulic shrink disc, torque arm support, lubrication supply tooling.
• Load test knowledge of data collection system i.e. temperature, vibration, oil pressure, oil cleanness, sound. Load test knowledge of data analysis, electrical program, NVH evaluation, Load test software setup. Load test bench knowledge of driving motor, convertor, power supply, lubrication system, cooling water supply system, sound enclosure and safety hood setup.Has Functional test knowledge of wind power train on sensor test (temperature, vibration, oil pressure) test, hydraulic system test (brake system, rotor lock system, pitch tube system), cooling fan test, electrical diagram.
• Has Software Knowledge - Creo, AutoCAD, Windchill, Delmia, MS Office Tools. Has Working experience on ERP (SAP, MES).
• Has Expert knowledge of Quality tools for problem solving. e.g. 8D, 6-Sigma. Has Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing. Has knowledge of QMS (ISO 9001-2015).
• Language skills: Mandarin Chinese: Skilled, English: Skilled CET-4, could be working language to organize business meetings.
