Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process Engineer to join our team. As a Process Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting our production team and ensuring the smooth operation of our extrusion process If you have a background in Mechanical, Industrial, or Mechanical Production Engineering and possess expertise in the activities listed below, we invite you to apply for this challenging position.

Main Responsibilities:

Production Planning and Support:

  • Provide support to Extrusion Process Technicians regarding the factory's production plan.
  • Monitor the production plan and ensure its effective implementation.
  • Assist in handling extrusion process deviations in the BMS, analyzing root causes with a multidisciplinary team.

Technical Drawing and Documentation:

  • Prepare technical drawings of parts for procurement.
  • Develop, update, and approve work instructions as needed and provide training to users (operators).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of electrical designs, system configurations, and maintenance activities according to regulations.

Process Improvement and Optimization:

  • Execute low-complexity improvement projects for specific production lines.
  • Develop setup parameters for the production line.
  • Identify and implement process improvement needs in the manufacturing process.
  • Evaluate tools and equipment on the production line for new projects.
  • Specify measuring instruments, tools, consumables, facilities, and equipment.

Technical Evaluation and Support:

  • Conduct technical evaluation of resources required for the production of requested products according to the project.
  • Provide technical support to production, procurement, product engineering, documentation, maintenance, occupational safety, environmental, and quality departments.

Supplier Development and Procurement:

  • Support SCM departments in developing new national and international suppliers.
  • Specify and request procurement of materials, machines, and tools when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, Industrial or Mechanical Production.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with 2D and 3D drawing analysis and construction software (Autocad / CREO design / Solidworks).

Desirable:

  • Previous experience with Polymer Extrusion.
