Job Description

At Capgemini Engineering, the world leader in engineering services, we bring together a global team of engineers, scientists, and architects to help the world’s most innovative companies unleash their potential. From autonomous cars to life-saving robots, our digital and software technology experts think outside the box as they provide unique R&D and engineering services across all industries. Join us for a career full of opportunities. Where you can make a difference. Where no two days are the same.

Your Role

As part of the Engineering Process department, you will contribute to the technical execution of pharmaceutical projects, including:

  • Installation and integration of new pharmaceutical equipment
  • Design modifications of existing equipment
  • Preparation of technical documentation such as URS, FS, and DS
  • Supplier management and execution of Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
  • Support during IQ / OQ / PPQ phases

In the context of a progressive knowledge transfer from the Engineering Validation department toward a Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q) model, additional responsibilities will be integrated into the role, including:

  • Drafting of FAT, Design Review, and Commissioning protocols
  • Tracking and closure of punch lists resulting from FAT and commissioning activities
  • Active participation in the C&Q project governance and execution

You will initially work closely with a Process Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) and progressively take ownership of defined commissioning and C&Q activities.

Your Profile

  • Rapidly absorb additional C&Q-related responsibilities, initially in a paired setup with a Process Engineering SME
  • Develop toward autonomy on smaller-scale projects, in addition to the commissioning scope, over the mid-term
  • Engineering degree preferred, or Master’s degree in Applied Sciences. Extensive relevant experience may compensate for the degree requirement; Bachelor’s degree only is not sufficient
  • Proven experience in a pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical GMP environment
  • Experience with fill & finish equipment and/or process setup equipment (e.g. autoclaves, CIP/SIP skids, stopper processors) is a strong asset
  • Practical experience with FAT, commissioning, IQ/OQ, and supplier interactions
  • Pragmatic, field-oriented engineering approach with the ability to work on-site
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Mobility to Lessines
